Tottenham Hotspur legend Micky Hazard is clearly very impressed with the ‘new White Hart Lane’.

The 62,000-seater stadium appears to be coming along nicely and Tottenham will play on it for the first time during the third weekend of September when Liverpool visit the capital.

And Hazard, who spent nine years at Spurs across two different spells, is loving the latest picture of the ongoing construction.

There was a setback in construction recently when The Sun reported that 15,000 seats had to be removed – a blunder by the contractors which reportedly infuriated Spurs’ chiefs.

Nevertheless, Tottenham are confident that the development will not cause a delay.

There had already been delays in completing the project, resulting in Mauricio Pochettino’s side needing to play their first four Premier League fixtures – against Newcastle, Fulham, Manchester United and Watford – away from home.
