Tottenham Hotspur return to Premier League action against rivals Arsenal on Sunday.
Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Micky Hazard has described his old side’s defeat to Bayer Leverkusen as baffling on Twitter.
The German side moved to second in Champions League Group E at Tottenham’s expense, following a 1-0 win at Wembley Stadium.

The defeat was Spurs’ second from two at their temporary home for European fixtures, and extended their winless run to six matches since October’s masterclass against Manchester City.
Like many, Hazard is struggling to fathom Tottenham’s sudden loss of form, but is looking forward to Sunday’s potential pick-me-up against north London rivals Arsenal.
Although that’s not quite how he put it – referring instead to the Gunners’ south-of-the-river roots.

“Bad day at the office,” the 56-year-old posted. ” Very baffling but we can still do it (qualify). Feeling gutted this morning but nothing better than a north- versus south-London derby.”
Tottenham are currently fifth in the Premier League, but will draw level on points with joint-leaders Arsenal by beating their bitter rivals at the Emirates, with a three-goal margin required to overtake them.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side are likely to be boosted by the return to fitness of key players Harry Kane and Toby Alderweireld, although the pair look set for bench roles at the home of the Gunners.
