Former player Micky Hazard took to social networking site Twitter in order to share his opinion on Tottenham Hotspur’s 1-1 draw with Premier League rivals Liverpool at White Hart Lane.
James Milner set the Reds on their way with a penalty late in the first half and few could complain that the Merseysiders did not deserve their 1-0 lead at the half-time interval.
Spurs improved after the break and found an equaliser via Danny Rose, and the final 20 minutes was a great spectacle for the neutral as both teams searched for a winner in an entertaining encounter.

Hazard, writing on Twitter, felt that Spurs were not at their best and played with a rather slower tempo than usual but added it was a good point regardless and insisted that the team will get better with more match sharpness.
Tottenham are somewhat renowned for starting their Premier League campaigns in a slow fashion and last season some could point to the opening six matches as a key factor in missing out on the title.
Spurs have managed to pick up five points from three matches, but with just three goals scored perhaps there is scope to bring in an extra attacking player ahead of the upcoming transfer deadline.
Next up for the North London club is a trip to Stoke City after the international break, before getting their Champions League campaign underway with a home encounter with Monaco.
