The former Spurs and Chelsea central midfielder has picked the Belgium international central defender as the best player for Mauricio Pochettino’s side this season, not Harry Kane.
Kane is one of the best strikers in the world and has been in great form for Spurs this campaign, scoring 27 goals and providing two assists in the Premier League.
