Son Heung-min scored for Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday.
Micky Hazard has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Tottenham Hotspur’s win against Brighton and Hove Albion.
Tottenham maintained their good run of form with a 2-0 win against Brighton at the Wembley Stadium in the Premier League on Wednesday evening.
Serge Aurier put Spurs in the lead in London in the 40th minute, and Son Heung-min doubled the advantage on 87 minutes.
Former Tottenham midfielder Hazard was following the match, and he was pleased to see the North London club win against the Seagulls.
Hazard has also praised the performance of Son, who has been on the books of Tottenham since the summer of 2015 when he joined from Bayer Leverkusen for a transfer fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £22 million.
Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino was also impressed with the 25-year-old South Korea international, who can operate as a winger or as a forward.
Son has scored five goals in 10 Premier League starts and three goals in four Champions League starts for Spurs so far this season.
Pochettino told Football.London about Son’s performance: “Yes, very good. I thought Sonny deserve the praise and that is a good thing to talk about.
“He deserves a lot of praise and always a smile. Always he’s happy. When he’s not playing, he’s not happy.”
