Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic hammered Sunderland at the Stadium of Light at the weekend.

Micky Gray has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Sunderland’s heavy defeat to Celtic at the weekend.

Sunderland suffered a humiliating 5-0 defeat to Celtic in a pre-season friendly match at the Stadium of Light on Saturday afternoon.

Callum McGregor scored a hat-trick for the Scottish Premiership giants, with Jonny Hayes and Stuart Armstrong adding to the scoreline.

Former Sunderland star Gray has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the defeat for the Championship club.

The 42-year-old has urged the Sunderland fans to move on from the loss to Brendan Rodgers’s side and has urged them to support the team this week.

Sunderland will kick off their 2017-18 Championship campaign with a home match against Derby County on Friday evening.

Gray has urged the fans to support the team and manager Simon Grayson at the Stadium of Light.

The Black Cats will be aiming to finish in the top six of the Championship this season after getting relegated from the Premier League at the end of the 2016-17 campaign.
