Micky Gray has tweeted that he would like to manage Sunderland in the future.

Gray is yet to take up a managerial role since retiring, but the former Black Cats player has expressed a desire to take up the mantle at the Stadium of Light at some point in the future.

Gray’s work since his retirement has generally been in punditry, rather than coaching.

The former Sunderland wide-man now regularly features on the likes of Sky Sports and TalkSPORT.

Gray has regularly commented on Sunderland’s progress, and is known to still have a strong affinity towards his boyhood club.
