Sam Allardyce’s Everton side have been linked with a move for Borussia Dortmund’s Pierre Emerick Aubameyang.

However, Quinn believes Everton have blown their chance of signing Aubameyang, as they have started poorly this term.

Quinn said: “They’ve got money, but why would he go there? They’ve just about got away from relegation. If they were in Europe, or the top four [he might].”
Everton are currently in 10th place in the Premier League table, after winning back to back games, but they have still failed to live up to expectations.
The Toffees went into the campaign hoping to trouble the top four, but they have failed to do so.

Everton reportedly do have the money to buy Aubameyang, but the Gabonese forward has widespread interest.
A whole host of Europe’s top teams have been linked with Aubameyang, and it would be a major surprise if he did move to Everton.
The Toffees are looking for a new striker in January, though, as they have been unable to replace Romelu Lukaku adequately to date.
