Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers are thought to be wanting to loan Michy Batshuayi from Chelsea.

Glasgow Rangers would surely be making the signing of the summer by completing a deal for Chelsea forward Michy Batshuayi, but supporters at Ibrox shouldn’t get too excited.
The Daily Mirror claim that Rangers are interested in Batshuayi, but any deal is surely hugely unlikely to take place.
Pedro Caixinha side want to snap up Batshuayi on loan, but they are competing with a number of Premier League teams for his signature.

West Ham United and Newcastle United have both been linked with Batshuayi, and a temporary move to either of those sides would make far more sense than a switch north of the border.
There is also a question of just how Rangers would afford such a transfer.

Batshuayi’s wages far exceed anybody else at Ibrox, and unless Chelsea heavily subsidises the move there would be no chance of it taking place.
And although Rangers’ interest is certainly exciting, the transfer seems far too good to be true at the moment.
