Hugo Lloris is yet to play at home this season in the Premier League.

Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Michel Vorm has handed a warning to his goalkeeping rival Hugo Lloris – but not over coming for his number one spot.

Rather this was some rather friendly professional advice, as he warned Lloris of the new windy conditions at White Hart Lane.

Speaking on talkSPORT2 the Spurs goalie admitted that the construction work currently being done at the Tottenham ground has allowed a strong gust to make it into the ground:

“The wind with the side open is swirling around, it’s different.

“It’s one of those things that you can’t do anything about.

“We need to concentrate on our own game and not think about the hole (in the stand).

“But for me, as a goalkeeper, the wind is just horrible.”

Lloris has not yet played at White Hart Lane this season, with his two Premier League games coming away from home and his Champions League appearance at Wembley.

Vorm stepped in whilst Lloris was out injured earlier in the season and featured at home twice, against Liverpool and Crystal Palace – playing well in both games.

Les Bleus captain Lloris would certainly do well to heed the advice of his deputy – who has clearly felt the impact of the changes at the Lane more than anyone else.

Hopefully though, given the quality of Lloris, it will not be something Spurs fans notice in the months to come.
