Tottenham Hotspur won against Swansea City in the Premier League on Wednesday evening.

Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Michel Vorm has told the club’s official website that he was surprised that he played against Swansea City on Wednesday evening.
Vorm featured for Tottenham in the Premier League game against his former club Swansea away from home at the Liberty Stadium.
The 33-year-old goalkeeper started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as the North London outfit staged a 3-1 comeback victory.
The Netherlands international has admitted his surprise at starting for Tottenham, explaining that he played because first-choice goalkeeper Hugo Lloris was ill.
“It came as a surprise to me that Hugo was ill,” Vorm told Tottenham’s official website. “It was nice in a way against my old club but for me nothing really changes because the focus is there and we train hard. I just have to make sure I’m ready for moments like that and I think it went well.”
Vorm is a good goalkeeper and he has experience of playing in the Premier League, and it should not surprise anyone when he plays well in the absence of Lloris.
The Dutchman is not going to become Spurs’ first-choice goalkeeper as long as Lloris is at White Hart Lane, but he can be trusted to make the saves and catch the crosses when he is called into action.
