Is Everton’s Sandro heading out the door in January?

Malaga coach Michel has claimed in a press conference via Football Espana that Everton attacker Sandro wants to rejoin the Spanish side in January.
The Barcelona academy graduate has struggled in a major way since sealing a £5.2 million move (The Times) to the Toffees in the summer.
The 22-year-old arrived with a promising future but fast forward five months and Sandro hasn’t started a Premier League for Everton since early September.

His first-team prospects don’t look much brighter under Sam Allardyce, who has given him just one minute of top-flight football since replacing Ronald Koeman last month.
And Michel says that he is “hopeful” of re-signing the Spaniard, who 14 netted Primera Division goals in 30 games last season.
“I’m hopeful,” he said in a press conference, as quoted by Football Espana. “Players play where they want, and I think Sandro wants to come and play for Malaga again.

“From there, everything is subjective and depends on certain situations and negotiations.”
Several of Everton’s pre-season recruits have struggled and it’s a damning indictment for Director of Football Steve Walsh, who splashed some £150 million on talent.
Gylfi Sigurdsson, who represents the bulk of that outlay, has been steadily improving under Allardyce following a terrible start, but the likes of Cuco Martina and Davy Klaassen have struggled.
It wouldn’t be at all surprising to see Sandro quit next month.
