The West Ham United winger included a surprising name in his selection.
Hammers’ star man Michail Antonio sat down for a light-hearted interview with the club’s official website and picked a five-a-side team consisting of his teammates who he considers to be the best he has played with.
The 27-year-old has been a revelation for West Ham, since joining from Nottingham Forest in the summer of 2015, for a fee believed to be in the region of £7 million, but unfortunately for him, his campaign was disrupted by injuries last term.

His rise within the game has been such a dramatic one that he must now surely be considered as the east London outfit’s most important player.
Yet Antonio refused to name himself when choosing his dream five-a-side team from the Hammers’ current crop of stars, during a light-hearted interview with WHUFC.com. Watch the video below to see who the West Ham winger picked to represent his team:
The inclusion of Andre Ayew will certainly raise a few eyebrows, after the Ghanaian struggled with both injuries and from following his club record move from Swansea City last summer.
One glaring omission was Antonio himself, but the 27-year-old was obviously being rather modest.
If every single West Ham player chose a five-a-side team from the current Hammers squad, they would all surely include Michail Antonio’s name.
