West Ham United fans are slaughtering Michail Antonio on Twitter.

West Ham United ace Michail Antonio might be regretting a harmless pre-match tweet that he sent on Friday.
The 28-year-old posted on Twitter that he and his West Ham team-mates were ‘putting in the work’ ahead of this afternoon’s visit of Burnley in the Premier League.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side haven’t won in any competition since the 3-1 victory over Manchester United on September 29, losing three of their four games during a difficult October.
Antonio, yet to score or set up a goal for West Ham in the Premier League this season, has been particularly disappointing since Pellegrini took the reins.
The former Nottingham Forest ace was regularly one of West Ham’s strongest players for a number of seasons, but it seems like many fans of the East London club have turned on him.
Here’s how some of them reacted to a recent tweet:
Football fans are notoriously fickle, and those who have given Antonio a bit of stick here will undoubtedly sing his name if he dazzles today against the Clarets.
But confidence is clearly an issue and time will tell if the winger can dig himself out of this funk.
