Speaking on the Footballer’s Football Podcast, Michail Antonio has been discussing Jude Bellingham’s future amid ongoing links to Liverpool.

The midfielder is the hottest of hot properties at the moment, and there is a lot of speculation about his future as we head into the summer of 2023.

Bellingham is wanted by the likes of Liverpool, Real Madrid and Manchester City, and despite originally saying that the England star should go to Spain, Antonio has now claimed that Bellingham would be best off joining Liverpool, despite the fact the Reds have had an underwhelming season to date.

Antonio says Bellingham should join Liverpool

The West Ham star spoke about the teenage sensation.

“I’ve changed my mind by the way. I think he should come to the Premier League. I don’t know. If he comes to Liverpool with what they have done, they’ve kept Salah and stuff like that, they will rebuild and become good again, so I wouldn’t turn down Liverpool because they’ve had a bad season this year,” Antonio said.

His best move?

Antonio thinks that Bellingham should join Liverpool, and we’re inclined to agree with his point of view.

Indeed, while the English star can basically choose from any of Europe’s top teams at this moment in time, Liverpool may well be his best bet.

The Reds’ midfield is in dire need of repair, and if he heads to Anfield he can be assured that the team will be built around his presence in the middle of the park for years to come.

The likes of Real Madrid and City can’t guarantee that same luxury as they have their own current crop of world-class stars in that area, while Liverpool are on the lookout for new blood.

Yes, this season isn’t going to plan for the Reds, but one small blip shouldn’t affect the pulling power that Jurgen Klopp’s team have built up over the years.
