Michail Antonio has told the Telegraph that West Ham United new boy Sebastian Haller looks outstanding in training.

Haller joined West Ham for a club record fee from Eintract Frankfurt over the summer, and he has wasted no time in opening his goalscoring account.

The powerful forward scored twice for West Ham as they beat Watford 3-1.

And Antonio claims that Haller has proven in training that he is going to be a real handful.

“He is a big strong guy – he is going to get goals,” the £7 million (Daily Mail) winger said.

“One thing I have always said since I have seen him in training – he is going to get goals. You can see it. Everyone is seeing why the price tag. He is worth it.”

Haller’s two goals against Watford were very well taken, as West Ham picked up their first three points of the campaign.

The rangy forward first tapped in from close range after latching on to Felipe Anderson’s driven pass, before he scored an overhead kick with great technique.

West Ham’s win over Watford has really lifted the pressure building on Manuel Pellegrini’s men, after they failed to win either of their first two outings.

West Ham are next in action on Tuesday evening, when they take on Newport County.
