Leeds United’s defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers means that Sheffield Wednesday are above them in the Championship table.

Leeds United suffered a blow to their chances of ending the season in the Championship playoffs this afternoon.
The Whites went down 1-0 to Wolverhampton Wanderers at Elland Road in the league, thanks to Nouha Dicko’s goal in the 38th minute.
The result means that the West Yorkshire outfit are now seventh in the league table with 73 points from 43 matches.
Leeds are level on points with sixth-placed Fulham, who have a superior goal difference. Garry Monk’s side are also two points behind fifth-placed Sheffield Wednesday.
Former England international cricketer Michael Vaughan, who is a well-known Wednesday fan, has trolled Leeds on social networking site Twitter.
Leeds fans will be hugely disappointed with the defeat to Wolves, especially as it was at home where the team have a good record.
The Whites’ final three league fixtures are against Burton Albion (away), Norwich City (home) and Wigan Athletic (away).
Could Leeds win their final three league matches? The Elland Road faithful will certainly hope so, but it is going to be hard… very, very hard.
