The Owls suffered a 2-0 defeat to Reading at the Hillsborough Stadium in the league. Yann Kermorgant put the visiting team in the lead after 13 minutes, and Adrian Popa doubled the advantage in the fifth minute of injury time.
The loss was Wednesday’s second successive in the Championship. Last weekend, Carlos Carvalhal’s side went down 2-0 to Aston Villa away from home at Villa Park.

Wednesday are sixth in the Championship table at the moment with 62 points from 38 matches. The Owls are only a point above seventh-placed and London club Fulham, who have a game in hand.
