Graeme Murty’s Glasgow Rangers have brought Sean Goss and Jamie Murphy to Ibrox in the January transfer window, while Carlos Pena has left.

Rangers interim manager Graeme Murty is seen during the Ladbrokes Scottish Premiership match between Rangers and St Johnstone at Ibrox Stadium on December 16, 2017 in Glasgow, Scotland.

Michael Stewart has predicted in The Scottish Sun that Rangers will bring in at least three new players in the January transfer window.

Rangers have been quite busy in the January transfer window so far and have made two new signings.

The Ibrox club have recruited 22-year-old midfielder Sean Goss on loan from Queens Park Rangers in the Championship in England until the end of the season.

The Gers have also signed 28-year-old winger Jamie Murphy on loan from Premier League club Brighton and Hove Albion for the rest of the season.

Wales international left wing-back Declan John, who joined Rangers on loan from Cardiff City in the summer of 2017, has been handed a permanent deal as well.

Rangers manager Graeme Murty is seen during the Scottish Cup Quarter final match between Rangers and Hamilton Academical at Ibrox Stadium on March 4, 2017 in Glasgow, Scotland.

Midfielder Carlos Pena has left for Cruz Azul, while The Scottish Sun has claimed that Bruno Alves, Fabio Cardoso, Eduardo Herrera, Lee Hodson and Dalcio all could part company with Rangers in the January transfer window.

Former Manchester United and Hibernian midfielder Stewart has predicted that Rangers manager Graeme Murty will sign at least three more players this month – a centre-half, a midfielder and a striker – something that the fans will surely be excited about.

Stewart wrote in The Scottish Sun: “The signing of Jamie Murphy is an impressive one, and shows Graeme Murty has identified what his team have been lacking this season.

“There looks like being plenty of other comings and goings at Ibrox as they mop up the mess left by Pedro Caixinha. With doubts over Bruno Alves, Carlos Pena, Dalcio, Eduardo Herrera and Fabio Cardoso, it looks like Rangers will be adding at least a new centre-half, someone else in the middle of the park — and most importantly, a striker with a bit of presence about him up top.”
