Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers were beaten 2-0 in the Scottish League Cup semi-final last weekend.

Caixinha quickly took responsibility for Rangers’ defeat to Motherwell at Hampden Park at the weekend.
However, in his more recent interviews, Caixinha has put some of the blame of Rangers’ players, suggesting that his team had not carried out their instructions.

And Stewart believes that Caixinha’s post-match interviews on Rangers’ defeat will have led to the players at Ibrox questioning the manager.
“The players in the changing room in their own quiet moments will be shaking their head in disbelief,” Stewart said.
“There’s no stability within the changing room when a manager is saying one thing and then within 24 hours is completely contradicting himself.
“That’s embarrassing, coming out and saying those things when straight after the game less than 24 hours before you were taking all the responsibility and saying, ‘blame me’. All of a sudden, you’re completely shifting the focus and saying, ‘well actually, they’re embarrassing me, the club and the fans’.”

Rangers’ defeat against Motherwell has certainly ramped the pressure up on Caixinha, who promised a big improvement this season.
The Light Blues went behind against Motherwell when Louis Moult scored a tap-in from a corner.
Moult then scored again, as Steven Robinson’s side countered on Rangers, as the Glasgow outfit pressed for an equaliser.
Motherwell will now take on Celtic in the final of the League Cup, as they look to pull off another upset.
