Glasgow Rangers goalkeeper Allan McGregor was sent off against Hibernian at Ibrox this month.

Michael Stewart has strongly criticised Rangers goalkeeper Allan McGregor in The Scottish Sun.
The former Manchester United and Hibernian midfielder was not impressed with what McGregor did during the Scottish Premiership match between Rangers and Hibernian earlier this month.
The 37-year-old former Scotland international goalkeeper kicked Hibernian’s Marc McNulty in the back in the closing stages of the game.
The former Besiktas and Hull City goalkeeper was sent off for his action, and he subsequently missed the Old Firm derby between Rangers and Celtic at Ibrox this past weekend.
Stewart wrote in The Scottish Sun about McGregor: “You’d think at this stage of his career he would be calming down. Instead he seems to be getting ANGRIER.
“Keepers tend to be overprotected these days, but McGregor has taken it to another level this season.
“The Gers No1 has always had a fiery side to his character, but now he seems to be in a permanently bad mood.
“And at times it seems when anyone gets within a yard of him, he feels the urge to lash out.”
Improvement needed
It is never a good sign when a team’s goalkeeper is sent off, and McGregor does need to be calmer and more mature on the pitch.
The Scotsman is 37 years of age and is hugely experienced, and he has to make sure that he leads by example on the pitch.
Rangers won 2-0 against Celtic in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday afternoon, and the victory will have boosted their confidence in regard to closing the gap on the Hoops next season.
