Glasgow Rangers goalkeeper Wes Foderingham is set to start for Steven Gerrard’s side against Neil Lennon’s Celtic at Ibrox today.

Foderingham is set to start for Rangers in the Old Firm derby against Celtic at home in two hours’ time.
The 28-year-old goalkeeper is the second choice under manager Steven Gerrard behind Allan McGregor.
McGregor, though, is suspended for the match against Celtic, meaning that Foderingham will start.
Former Hibernian and Heart of Midlothian midfielder Stewart believes that Foderingham could earn a good move for himself in the summer transfer window if he plays well today.
Stewart wrote in The Scottish Sun: “I thought Foderingham did well last year, but when Gerrard got the chance to upgrade the position by bringing in McGregor it was a no-brainer.
“Up until last Sunday the Englishman would have thought he’d played his last game for Gers. But now?
“Foderingham has one last chance to show what he can do in a massive Old Firm clash. And that could be the difference in what kind of move he can get himself this summer.”
Foderingham is a very good goalkeeper who is too good to be the number two, and it will make sense for the Englishman to move to another club in the summer transfer window where he can play regular first-team football.
Connor Goldson praise
Meanwhile, Rangers central defender Connor Goldson has backed Foderingham to give a good account of himself against Celtic today.
The former Crystal Palace and Swindon Town goalkeeper has not played a competitive match for Rangers since February 2019.
Goldson told The Scottish Sun: “Wes is not your typical No2 keeper. He was Rangers No1 for three years and always performed well.
“He’s probably got more Old Firm appearances than a lot of the boys here, so I’m sure he’ll be ready. Wes is a magnificent No2 to have and a great goalie. I’m sure he’ll be ready to step in.”
