Steven Gerrard’s Glasgow Rangers won against Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic at Ibrox at the weekend.

Celtic went down 1-0 to Rangers away from home at Ibrox in the Old Firm derby this past Saturday afternoon.
Ryan Jack scored the only goal of the Scottish Premiership game in Glasgow on the half-hour mark.
The result means that Rangers are now second in the league table with 42 points from 21 matches, level on points with leaders Celtic, who have played 20 games.
Former Hibernian and Heart of Midlothian midfielder Stewart, who now works as a pundit for BBC Sport, believes that Celtic will still win the league title.
Stewart wrote in The Scottish Sun about Celtic: “The next few weeks will now be vital if they are to maintain their dominance of recent times.
“Do I still think they will still win the league? Yes. This result hasn’t changed my mind in that respect.
“But what it has done is make the title race even more exciting and that can only be a good thing.”

Title race
In recent seasons, Celtic have had it quite easy in the Scottish Premiership, but things are different now.
Rangers are a much improved team under manager Steven Gerrard this season and are giving Old Firm rivals Celtic a run for their money.
Celtic have the best squad in Scotland, but their performances and results so far this season have not been as good as in recent weeks, and Rangers have certainly stepped up.
