Rangers earned all three points in a goal-frenzy win against Hamilton on Sunday.

Steven Thompson and Michael Stewart have heaped praise on Rangers’ attacking prowess on BBC Sportscene (Sunday, 11:30pm) after Graeme Murty orchestrated a 5-3 demolition of Hamilton at New Douglas Park on Sunday.
The Gers put Hamilton to the sword with a free-flowing attack that saw Josh Windass score a hat-trick and January recruit Jamie Murphy shine once again in the Light Blue of Rangers.
Murphy and Alfredo Morelos also got their names on the scoresheet, with Hamilton finding the back of the net three times through Dougie Imrie, David Templeton and Darren Lyon.

Thompson and Stewart were both in agreement when discussing Rangers’ in-form attack, stating that they are playing the kind of football that fans want to watch before saying Murphy is beginning to prove why Murty lured him to Ibrox in January.
“Entertainment is the word for them now,” Thompson said. “11 goals in two games. They’re playing really good football and it is what the fans to turn up and watch. Jamie Murphy was brilliant.”
Stewart said: “When you look at the dynamic they have at the top end of the park, they’ve got energy, legs, people who can put the ball in the back of the net. Murphy is looking like a really good acquisition.”

Murphy, 28, equalised after good work from Morelos following ex-Rangers man Lyon’s opener, before Windass’ long-range effort was fumbled by goalkeeper Gary Woods into the back of the net.
Another former Rangers star Templeton scored but Morelos replied instantly after a neat assist from Murphy, before the Brighton loanee set up Windass his second. The latter sealed the win in the second half from close range, with Imrie’s penalty only a late consolation.
Celtic’s draw against St. Johnstone leaves the Gers nine points behind their Old Firm rivals in second, while Aberdeen have dropped into third after losing to Hibernian on Saturday.
