Michael Owen claimed Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez would not get into the Chelsea side.

Ahead of the season BT Sport pundit Michael Owen caused controversy by claiming Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez would not be able to get into the Chelsea side.
The Chilean international was coming off the back of a solid first season for the Gunners, in which he won the FA Cup.
He wrote in his Colossus Bets “Hazard underlines what I said about Chelsea holding many of the aces in this league.
“I am big fan of Alexis Sanchez – in fact, I think he is one of the league’s top players – but he plays on the left and he wouldn’t be ousting Hazard out of the Chelsea side any time soon.”
Needless to say right now that bold statement looks a little awkward, given the way Hazard has underperformed in 2015/16.
Both players have missed games of late, but could return in time for Arsenal and Chelsea’s match at The Emirates this weekend.
Despite playing in five fewer Premier League games, Alexis Sanchez has scored five more goals than Hazard.
Hazard has one more assist, and has created 21 more chances, but evidently has failed to make an impact in doing so, with Chelsea floundering in the lower half of the Premier League.
In the Champions League, Sanchez has been even more dominant, again, in less game time.
