The former forward was discussing what Liverpool may have planned for the January transfer window.
Speaking to Sportlobster, former Liverpool striker Michael Owen has suggested the club should target a goalkeeper in the January transfer window.
The Reds were busy in the past summer transfer window as seven new players arrived at Anfield.
One of those was goalkeeper Loris Karius who, after missing the beginning of the season with a broken hand, has replaced Simon Mignolet as Jurgen Klopp’s number one between the sticks.

He has most impressed in the five games he has managed although he has struggled to prove he is the top level ‘keeper that the side has needed for a number of years.
And Owen says that there are still nagging doubts over the position, which the club should consider addressing in the January transfer window.
“Looking a bit further ahead into the January transfer window, I really do wonder what Jurgen Klopp is going to do,” he told Sportlobster.
“I think a lot will depend between now and then [are there] any injuries or loss of form. I think they have got a pretty complete squad.”
“There’s maybe the odd question mark over the goalkeeper situation, but apart from that, all is rosy in the Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp camp.”

If Jurgen Klopp is going to look at adding to any area of his team it will likely be in defence.
The Reds have already conceded 13 goals this season, the worst record in the top six and the second worst the top half of the table.
It is something that could end up harming their title ambitions this season and should it continue then Klopp will surely move to fix it in the January transfer window.
