Michael Owen has said on Twitter that Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal will not win the Premier League title this season, backing Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City to get the job done in the final games.
The former Manchester United and Liverpool striker believes that Arsenal’s defeat to Brighton and Hove Albion at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday means that City are now set to win the title.
Owen, though, has praised the Gunners for doing extremely well this season.
Arsenal have suffered a 3-0 loss at the hands of Brighton at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday.
Earlier today, defending champions Manchester City hammered Everton 3-0 away from home at Goodison Park in the Premier League.
City are now at the top of the league table with 85 points from 35 matches.
Arsenal are currently second with 81 points from 36 games.
Now, while there is still a small chance that City could slip up in their final three Premier League matches, it is really hard to see that happening.

However, we all must praise Arsenal for the work they have done this season.
At the start of the season, not many would have expected the Gunners to challenge for the title.
After all, the North London club could not even finish in the top four of the Premier League table last season.
