
Michael Owen said on Premier League Productions that Mohamed Salah has become “an unbelievably accomplished finisher” at Liverpool.
The former Liverpool striker has been impressed by the development of Salah during his time at the Reds so far.
Owen made the comments about the Egypt international forward following his goals against Crystal Palace at the weekend.
The 28-year-old, who has been on the books of Liverpool since the summer of 2017 when he joined from AS Roma, scored twice late on after coming on as a substitute in the Reds’ 7-0 hammering of Palace away from home at Selhurst Park in London in the Premier League on Saturday.
Owen said about Salah on Premier League Productions: “He got better at Roma. Even at Liverpool when he first came, you could see he was getting better, he was much better than when he was at Chelsea. Now he has just turned into an unbelievably accomplished finisher, very rarely wastes chances.”
Big player for Liverpool
Salah has developed into a world-class footballer at Liverpool and has turned into a goal machine.
The former Chelsea attacker has scores 13 goals and provided three assists in the Premier League so far this season, while during the 2019-20 campaign, he scored 19 goals and gave 10 assists in the league and in 2018-19, he scored 22 goals and provided eight assists in the league, according to WhoScored.
Salah has been a key figure in Liverpool winning the Premier League title and the Champions League.
