Xherdan Shaqiri joined Liverpool in the summer transfer window.

Shaqiri has been playing well for Liverpool in recent weeks, and is contributing with both goals and assists.
The 27-year-old winger has scored two goals and provided two assists in 381 minutes of Premier League football and one assist in 73 minutes of Champions League football for the Reds so far this season, according to WhoScored.
The Switzerland international, though, appears to prefer the number 10 role to playing on the wing, as he told Owen during an off-camera discussion earlier this month.
Owen said about Shaqiri on the BT Sport Score show on BT Sport last Saturday afternoon (3:40pm, November 24, 2018): “Off-camera, I was asking him what position is his favourite. He said, ‘If I have to pick, it would be more central, like a number 10’.”

Important player
Shaqiri is a very creative footballer, and the Swiss has done well for Liverpool following his move from Stoke City in the summer transfer window.
The former Bayern Munich and Inter Milan star will have to make do playing on the wing for now.
Liverpool are going strong in the Premier League at the moment and could also progress to the knockout rounds of the Champions League.
