Michael Owen has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the latest transfer activity of Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.
The former Liverpool striker is overjoyed to see Thiago and Gareth Bale move to the Premier League.
Liverpool have announced on their official website that they have signed former Barcelona central midfielder Thiago Alcantara from Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window.
According to Sky Sports, Bale is in London now and will complete his loan move from Real Madrid to Tottenham shortly.
Good signings for Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur?
While Tottenham have not officially announced the signing of Bale, it seems that it is only a matter of time before they do so.
The Wales international is a former Spurs player, and he would make Jose Mourinho’s side better and stronger in attack despite his recent injury problems and lack of playing time.
As for Thiago, the central midfielder is a world-class footballer who is a serial winner and will make Liverpool stronger in the middle of the park.
While Liverpool will be aiming to win the Premier League title again this season, Spurs will be looking to finish in the top four.
