Stoke City are reportedly on the verge of signing Wilfried Bony from Manchester City on transfer deadline day.

Former Liverpool and Manchester United striker Michael Owen has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to speculation linking Wilfried Bony with a move to Stoke City.
According to Sky Sports, Stoke are on the verge of signing Bony from Premier League rivals Manchester City on transfer deadline day.
It has been reported that the 27-year-old Ivory Coast international striker is at the Potters’ training ground this morning.
According to The Mirror, Bony will join Stoke on a season-long loan deal, with the Potters to pay a loan fee of £2 million.

Former Newcastle United and Stoke striker Owen has suggested on Twitter that Bony would be a good signing for the Potters.
Another former Stoke player, ex-defender Danny Higginbotham, has also backed Bony to be a success at the Bet365 Stadium.

Bony joined City from Premier League rivals Swansea City in January 2015 for a transfer fee reported by Sky Sports to be worth £28 million.
The former Sparta Prague and Vitesse striker scored four goals and created 13 chances in 26 Premier League appearances for the Citizens last season.
