Pundit reacts to former teammate Steven Gerrard’s Rangers losing in Moscow.

Steven Gerrard’s Rangers slipped to defeat in Moscow last night after going in at half-time with a lead.
A chaotic first half saw defences on both teams go missing and five goals were scored, including an own goal for both teams.
Rangers had a 3-2 lead before they conceded twice in two minutes midway through the second half and lost 4-3.
Rangers had a goal disallowed and hit the post during injury time, adding to their frustration.
Gerrard’s former Liverpool teammate Michael Owen summed it up on Twitter with his assessment of how Rangers would be feeling.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Celtic all won their Europa League games with Rangers the odd team out.
The Scottish side came close and attacked well but they ended up with themselves to blame for their own poor defending.
Rangers have slipped from first to third in their group and need to get a win next time out at home to Spanish side Villarreal to keep qualification in their hands.
