Arsenal won against Everton in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Former Liverpool and Manchester United striker Michael Owen has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Arsenal’s win against Everton.

Arsenal got the better of Everton 2-0 away from home at Goodison Park in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Danny Welbeck put the Gunners in the lead as early as the seventh minute, and Alex Iwobi added the second just three minutes before the half-time interval.

Former Newcastle United striker Owen was impressed with the Gunners’ performance, while ex-Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand praised the two goalscorers and Alexis Sanchez on Twitter.

During his time on the pitch at Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon, England international striker Welbeck took one shot, had a pass accuracy of 87%, created one chance, attempted seven dribbles, and made one clearance.

Iwobi, who is just 19 years of age and can play as a striker or as a winger, took three shots, had a pass accuracy of 78%, created one chance, attempted three dribbles, and made one block.

Chile international forward Sanchez had a pass accuracy of 75%, created three chances, put in three crosses, attempted six dribbles, and made one clearance.

The win against Everton means that Arsenal retain their chances of winning the Premier League title this season.
