Liverpool brought in four new signings this summer, and many are backing them to challenging for the title.

Michael Owen predicted where his former club Liverpool will finish n the Premier League this season, when writing a blog for BETVICTOR, suggesting that Jürgen Klopp’s side will be Manchester City’s closest challengers come what May.
The Reds were one of the most exciting teams to watch in world football last season, thrilling fans with their own unique brand of expansive, high-octane football.
They did finish a distant 25 points adrift of Pep Guardiola’s magnificent City side, however, and Klopp’s men will have to make drastic improvements this season, if they are to have any chance of toppling the Citizens.
Owen, who scored 158 goals for Liverpool, backed his former side to finish in second place this season, when writing a blog for BETVICTOR, suggesting that new signing Alisson Becker could turn out to be the last piece of the jigsaw for Klopp:

“I am convinced that Jürgen Klopp’s progressive side are the biggest danger to City this season and I feel they will give Pep Guardiola’s side a real run for their money. The Reds look to have improved in a number of key areas this season and the signing of Brazilian keeper Alisson could be the last piece in the jigsaw.”
Liverpool kick off their new Premier League campaign with a home game against West Ham on Sunday, and Klopp’s men will be looking to send out a real statement of intent with a convincing win over Manuel Pellegrini’s Hammers side.
