Former Liverpool and Manchester United striker Michael Owen has predicted on Betvictor.com that Tottenham Hotspur will win against West Ham United on Friday evening.

Tottenham will take on West Ham away from home at the London Stadium in the Premier League.

Owen believes that Spurs will pick up all three points from the London derby, and has also praised Harry Kane and Dele Alli.

England international striker Kane has been stunning for Tottenham this season and has scored 21 goals and created six assists in the Premier League so far this campaign.

Midfielder Alli is one of the best young players in entire Europe and has scored 17 goals and created five assists in the league so far this season.

Former Newcastle United striker Owen has been impressed with both Kane and Alli.

“Harry Kane and Dele Alli have 38 league goals this season and one more strike from either between now and the end of the season will see them beat the 1994/95 tally of Jurgen Klinsmann (20) and Teddy Sheringham (18),” Owen wrote on Betvictor.com. “They have both been quite outstanding in a Spurs side who keep getting better and better.

“Since the start of the 2015/16 season Spurs have picked up 15 more points than any other side in the Premier League – whilst it looks as if they will have nothing to show for their continued excellence I expect them to take all three points against a Hammers side struggling for goals in recent weeks.

A footnote added: “Michael’s recommendation: Spurs to win to nil at 31/20.”

Tottenham are just four points behind leaders and London rivals Chelsea in the Premier League table at the moment.

If Spurs win, then they will certainly put a lot of pressure on the Blues, and one suspects that manager Mauricio Pochettino will be telling his players about this.
