Former Liverpool and Manchester United striker Michael Owen has predicted on Betvictor.com that Chelsea will win the London derby against West Ham United next week.

Chelsea will take on West Ham away from home at the London Stadium in the Premier League on Monday evening.

Owen believes that the the Hammers will lose the match to the Blues.

“The Hammers will be hoping to have Andy Carroll fit given the striker has a good record against the title favourites having scored in two of his last three games against the Blues,” Owen wrote on Betvictor.com.

“It promises to be a Cup-tie atmosphere at the London Stadium with plenty of goals and incidents – but it is Champions-elect Chelsea to come out on top for me.”

A footnote added: “Michael’s recommendation: Chelsea to win and both teams to score at 23/10.”

West Ham will head into the match on the back of a 1-1 draw with Watford away from home at Vicarage Road in the Premier League.

The Hammers’ form last month was patchy. Slaven Bilic’s side were able to register just one victory and also went down 4-0 to Manchester City at the London Stadium.

Slaven Bilic’s side will have to step up their game against Chelsea, who are running away with the league title and appear set to cling the title.

Antonio Conte’s side are at the top of the league table at the moment with 63 points from 26 matches.

The Blues will head into the match against West Ham on the back of a 3-1 victor over Swansea City at Stamford Bridge in the league.
