Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham Hotspur will face Sam Allardyce’s Everton in the Premier League this weekend, and Michael Owen backs Harry Kane to score at least twice.
Tottenham will take on Everton at the Wembley Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday evening.
Former Liverpool and Manchester United striker Owen has suggested that Spurs will pick up all three points from the encounter against the Toffees.
The former Real Madrid striker has also backed Spurs star Harry Kane to score at least twice against Everton.
Kane is one of the best strikers in the Premier League and is in great form for Spurs at the moment.
The 24-year-old England international striker has scored 18 goals and provided one assist for the North London outfit so far this season.
Owen wrote on Betvictor.com: “Harry Kane (96) is just two goals away from becoming Spurs’ top scorer in the PL with my old England teammate Teddy Sheringham currently ruling the roost on 97.
“Kane has scored twice in his last two PL games against Everton. The England striker will become only the seventh player in the history of the competition to score two or more goals against the same opposition in three successive games if he grabs a brace or more at Wembley.
“Everton played well in patches at Liverpool in the FA Cup last time and it will be interesting to see if manager Sam Allardyce gives the exciting Ademola Lookman his head after his Anfield cameo.
“That said Everton have only won one of their last 43 away league games against the “big six” and I cannot see them getting a result in the capital.”
A footnote added: “Tip: Harry Kane to score two or more goals at 23/10.”
Everton are not in great form at the moment and have lost their last three matches in all competitions.
The Toffees are not in danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the moment, but the Merseyside outfit do need to start getting results soon.
Tottenham are in good form at the moment, and Mauricio Pochettino’s side should be able to pick up all three points against Everton this weekend.
