Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace will face each other in the Premier League this weekend.
Tottenham will take on London rivals Palace at the Wembley Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
The North London outfit will head into the game against the Eagles on the back of a 3-1 victory over Real Madrid at home in the Champions League.
The Eagles are struggling against relegation to the Championship at the end of the season, and former Newcastle United striker Owen does not expect them to get anything from the match against Spurs, and has also described Tottenham as “top-class side”.
“If Palace fail to score they will become only the second side in the history of the PL (Derby County first in 2007/8) to fail to score in their first six away games of the campaign,” Owen wrote on Betvictor.com.
“The return of Wilf Zaha has given the Eagles hope in their quest for Premier League survival, but they may have to wait at least another couple of weeks for a point or even a goal on the road given Spurs are a top-class side.”
Tottenham have one of the strongest teams in England, and the way they dismantled Madrid at Wembley on Wednesday evening suggests that they should get the better of Palace with ease.
True, if the Eagles score early, then it would be a bit tricky for Spurs, but it is hard to envisage Mauricio Pochettino’s side slipping up at home against a team who could well be playing in the Championship next season.
