Former Liverpool and Manchester United striker Michael Owen has predicted on Betvictor.com that Tottenham Hotspur will win against Bournemouth this weekend.

Tottenham will take on Bournemouth at the Wembley Stadium in London in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Owen believes that Mauricio Pochettino’s side will pick up all three points from the encounter against the Cherries.

“Spurs have yet to win at home in the league so far this season but they must surely break their Wembley duck sooner rather than later,” Owen wrote on Betvictor.com.

“Incredibly, Harry Kane’s last 13 PL goals have all come away from home, but he and Spurs are too good to maintain those unenviable records for long.”

A footnote added: “Michael’s recommendation: Spurs to win and both teams to score 8/5

“Michael’s correct score prediction: Spurs 3 – 1 Bournemouth.”

Bournemouth are not doing too well at the moment and are among the sides aiming to avoid relegation to the Championship at the end of the season.

The Cherries will be the underdogs heading into the match at Spurs, and it is hard to imagine Eddie Howe’s side picking up all three points from the match.

Although Tottenham have struggled at Wembley, the North London outfit should manage to win against Bournemouth and maintain their charge for the Premier League title this season.

Spurs are third in the Premier League table at the moment with 14 points from seven matches, while Bournemouth are currently second from bottom in the standings with only four points.
