Tottenham Hotspur will face AFC Wimbledon at Wembley in the FA Cup this weekend.

Tottenham will take AFC Wimbledon at the Wembley Stadium in London in the third round of the FA Cup on Sunday afternoon.
Former Liverpool and Manchester United striker Owen has backed Spurs to win the tie and progress further in the FA Cup this season.

Owen wrote on Betvictor.com: “Spurs have failed to reach the 4th Round just once in the last 11 seasons and it is hard to see the Dons bucking that trend in the club’s second ever competitive visit to Wembley.
“AFC Wimbledon beat Plymouth 2-0 in the 2016 League Two Play-Off Final on that occasion, but they are likely to come up short against a Spurs side who should have too much class for Sunday’s visitors.”
A footnote added: “Tip: Spurs -2 on the handicap at 17/20.”

Tottenham will head into the tie on Sunday as overwhelming favourites, and it is hard to see Maurcio Pochettino’s side slip up.
True, manager Pochettino could make a number of changes to his team and AFC Wimbledon will be up for the game at Wembley, but Spurs simply have too much quality.
Spurs are fifth in the Premier League table at the moment with 41 points from 22 matches, three points behind fourth-placed Liverpool.
Meanwhile, AFC Wimbledon currently find themselves 21st in the League One table with 27 points from 25 matches and are in real danger of getting relegated to League Two at the end of the season.
