Former Liverpool and Manchester United striker Michael Owen has predicted on Betvictor.com that Stoke City will win against West Ham United this weekend.

Stoke will take on West Ham at bet365 Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon, and Owen believes that the Potters will pick up all three points from the encounter against the Hammers.

“The Hammers have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last 13 PL away games and I can’t see past a win for Stoke who are unbeaten against the Hammers under Mark Hughes in seven previous Premier League games,” Owen wrote on Betvictor.com.

A footnote added: “Michael’s recommendation: Stoke to win at 6/5.”

Stoke are 11th in the Premier League table at the moment with 39 points from 34 matches and look set to finish the season in mid-table.

The Potters will head into the game against West Ham on the back of a 2-0 defeat to Swansea City away from home at the Liberty Stadium in the league.

Meanwhile, West Ham currently find themselves 14th in the Premier League table with 38 points from 34 matches, as many as seven points above the relegation zone.

Slaven Bilic’s side will head into the game against West Ham on the back of a goalless draw with Everton at the London Stadium in the league.

The Hammers would do well if they manage to pick up a point against Stoke at the bet365 Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
