Stoke City will face West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League this weekend.

Former Newcastle United striker Michael Owen has predicted on Betvictor.com that the game between Stoke City and West Bromwich Albion this weekend will end in a draw.

The Potters will face West Brom at the Bet365 Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Former Stoke striker Owen believes that the match will end in a draw.

“A game that shouts draw to me although the hosts badly need a win to lift the clouds that are gathering above the Potteries at present,” Owen wrote on Betvictor.com.

“Stoke had three players see red in the two games between the sides last season and Tony Pulis has won all four PL games against his former club; tight, tense and probably tetchy.”

A footnote added: “Michael’s recommendation: Game to finish in a draw at 9/4.”

Stoke are struggling at the moment and currently find themselves at the foot of the Premier League table.

The Potters have picked up just a single point from five league matches so far this season.

Mark Hughes’s side will head into the match against West Brom on the back of a 2-1 defeat to Hull City at the Bet365 Stadium in the third round of the EFL Cup.

Meanwhile, West Brom are 10th in the Premier League table at the moment with seven points from five matches.

The Baggies will head into the match against Stoke on the back of a 4-2 victory over West Ham United at The Hawthorns in the league.

It is unlikely that there would be too many goals in this match.
