Manchester City will face Everton in the Premier League this weekend.
Former Liverpool striker Michael Owen has predicted on Betvictor.com that Manchester City will win against Everton this weekend.
City will take on Everton at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
Owen has backed Pep Guardiola’s side to pick up all three points from the encounter in Manchester.
“Everton, not so long ago, had a terrific record at the Etihad winning four on the bounce, but that is no longer the case and City are now unbeaten in their last five against the Blues at the Etihad,” Owen wrote on Betvictor.com.
“It will be interesting to see what reception the away supporters give John Stones although it wouldn’t surprise me if the centre-back was rested having played both games for England during the international break.”
A footnote added: “Michael’s recommendation: City to win and Both Teams To Score at 17/10.”
City have arguably the strongest squad in the Premier League this season and are favourites to win the league title.
The Citizens are currently at the top of the league table with 18 points from seven matches, a point clear of second-placed Tottenham Hotspur.
Guardiola’s side, though, have not won either of their last two competitive matches.
Just before the international break, City went down 2-0 to Tottenham away from home at White Hart Lane in the Premier League.
Everton are going strong at the moment and find themselves fifth in the standings with 14 points from seven matches.
Ronald Koeman’s side will head into the match against City on the back of a 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace at Goodison Park in the Premier League.
