Former Liverpool and Manchester United striker Michael Owen has predicted on Betvictor.com that Everton will win against Watford at home in the Premier League.

Everton will take on Watford at Goodison Park in the league in a few hours’ time.

Owen believes that the Toffees will pick up all three points from the game, and has also suggested that the match could be star striker Romelu Lukaku last in an Everton shirt.

“Everton have failed to score in their last three games and the Hornets haven’t scored a goal on the road in the Premier League for 527 minutes but I still expect to see goals at Goodison on Friday night!” Owen wrote on Betvictor.com.

“This is likely to be Romelu Lukaku’s last game at Goodison Park in an Everton shirt and no surprise to see him named the Blues Player of the Year earlier in the week.

“The striker has scored 14 times in the league in 2017 – just one fewer than the whole Watford side!”

A footnote added: “Michael’s recommendation: Everton to win and both teams to score at 2/1.”

Everton are seventh in the Premier League table at the moment with 58 points from 36 matches.

The Merseyside outfit are not going to end up in the top four and may not finish above seventh in the standings this season.

However, Ronald Koeman’s campaign should still be considered a success, and the Goodison Park faithful should be happy.

Meanwhile, Watford currently find themselves 15th in the Premier League table with 40 points from 35 matches. The Hornets look safe from relegation and have also have a good season.
