Everton and Southampton will face each other in the Premier League on Monday.
Former Liverpool and Manchester United striker Michael Owen has predicted on Betvictor.com that Everton will win against Southampton on Monday afternoon.
Everton will take on Southampton at Goodison Park in the Premier League in a few hours’ time.
“Ross Barkley saved a point for Everton at Hull on Friday, but I think the Blues can take all three points against a Southampton side whose busy early season schedule looked like it might be catching up with them against Spurs over Xmas,” Owen wrote on Betvictor.com.
A footnote added: “Michael’s recommendation; Everton to win at 6/5.”
Everton will head into the match against Southampton on the back of a 2-2 draw with Hull City away from home at the KCOM Stadium in the Premier League.
The Toffees will fancy their chances of returning to winning ways against the Saints, especially as they are at home.
Ronald Koeman’s side are seventh in the Premier League table at the moment with 27 points from 19 matches.
Meanwhile, Southampton currently find themselves ninth in the standings with 24 points from 19 matches.
The Saints will head into the match against Everton this afternoon on the back of a 2-1 defeat to West Bromwich Albion at St. Mary’s Stadium in the league.
It is had to see Southampton win at Goodison Park, but one should not be surprised if Claude Puel’s side pick up a point from this afternoon’s encounter.
