Michael Owen has predicted on Betvictor.com that the Premier League game between Chelsea and Liverpool this week will end in a draw.

Chelsea will take on Liverpool at Stamford Bridge in London in the Premier League on Friday evening.

Former Liverpool striker Owen believes that the match will end in a draw.

“Liverpool have now scored more Premier League goals than any other side in 2016 after their comprehensive 4-1 win against Leicester last weekend and I expect to see goals at Stamford Bridge where the hosts have only kept one clean sheet in their last 14 home games,” Owen wrote on Betvictor.com.

“Diego Costa is looking back to his best under Antonio Conte (four in four under the new boss) and this really should be a cracker between two sides with genuine title aspirations.”

A footnote added: “Michael’s recommendation: Game to finish in a draw and Both Teams To Score at 7/2.”

Liverpool manager Juergen Klopp Jurgen Klopp

Chelsea will head into the game at Stamford Bridge with confidence and will be favourites to pick up all three points.

Antonio Conte’s side are going strong in the Premier League at the moment and are one of the top contenders to win the title.

It is hard to see the Blues lose in London on Friday evening, but Liverpool can certainly force a draw.

Jurgen Klopp’s side tend to step up their game against the big(ger) teams, and Friday’s match could see the Reds take the game to Chelsea.

Chelsea will head into the match against Liverpool on the back of a 2-2 draw with Swansea City away from home at the Liberty Stadium in the Premier League.

Liverpool will head into the game against the Blues on the back of a 4-1 victory over defending English champions Leicester City at Anfield in the league.
