Chelsea and Everton will face each other in the Premier League this weekend.

Former Liverpool and Manchester United striker Michael Owen has predicted on Betvictor.com that Everton will not lose to Chelsea this weekend.

Everton will take on Chelsea away from home at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League on Saturday evening.

Owen has backed the Toffees to pick up at least a point from the encounter in London.

BT Sport's Michael Owen before the match

“Chelsea are unbeaten in their last 21 home PL games against Everton although only a 97th minute John Terry goal saved a point in a remarkable 3-3 draw in the corresponding fixture last season,” the Englishman wrote on Betvictor.com.

“Ronald Koeman must do without the suspended Idrissa Gueye which is a huge blow for the Toffees, but they managed to get a point at the Etihad last month and I think they might get something at the Bridge despite Chelsea’s excellent recent run.”

A footnote added: “Michael’s recommendation: Double Chance Everton and the draw at 6/4.”

Chelsea are going strong in the Premier League at the moment and are very much in the race for the league title.

The Blues are currently fourth in the standings with 22 points from 10 matches, just a point behind leaders Manchester City.

Antonio Conte’s side will head into the match against Everton on the back of a 2-0 victory over Southampton away from home at St. Mary’s Stadium in the Premier League.

Everton also won last weekend, getting the better of West Ham United 2-0 at Goodison Park in the Premier League.

The Merseyside outfit are sixth in the table at the moment with 18 points from 10 matches.

The Toffees can certainly earn a draw from the match against Chelsea.
