Chelsea and Arsenal will face each other at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League this weekend.
Chelsea will take on London rivals Arsenal at Stamford Bridge in the league on Sunday afternoon.
Owen has backed the Blues to pick up all three points from the encounter against the Gunners.
“Arsenal have lost their last five at Stamford Bridge in the PL although they did beat the champions in both the FA Cup Final and Community Shield, albeit on penalties, in recent months,” Owen wrote on Betvictor.com.
“I am not convinced Antonio Conte and his side will have taken those losses too well and I expect to see the Blues sweep the Gunners aside.
“Arsene Wenger’s team have not picked up a point or scored a goal in their two games on the road so far this season but at least we know they cannot play as badly as they did at Anfield in their last away game!”
A footnote added: “Michael’s recommendation: Chelsea to win at 4/5.”
Chelsea have one of the best squads in the Premier League and will head into the match against Arsenal as favourites.
Antonio Conte’s side are in great form at the moment and are scoring goals for fun. It is hard to see the Blues lose the match against Arsenal despite it being a London derby, but Arsene Wenger’s side could pick up a point.
Arsenal may not have as good a team as Chelsea do, but there are some wonderful players in the current Gunners’ team who can make the Blues work hard.
One should not be surprised if Wenger’s side do earn a point from the London derby, but it is hard to see the North London outfit win the match.
