Chelsea and Arsenal will face each other in the Premier League this weekend.

Former Liverpool and Manchester United striker Michael Owen has predicted on Betvictor.com that Chelsea will win the London derby against Arsenal this weekend.

Chelsea will take on Arsenal at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

BT Sport's Michael Owen before the match

“Arsenal won the reverse fixture at the Emirates 3-0 earlier in the season and the last time they did the double over Chelsea (2003/4) was the last time they won the Premier League!” Owen wrote on Betvictor.com.

Collymore makes confident Tottenham Hotspur v Middlesbrough prediction

“A win for the Gunners would breathe new life into the title race but they haven’t scored a goal at the Bridge in over four years in the PL and I can’t see past another home win for the Blues.”

A footnote added: “Michael’s recommendation: Chelsea to win at Evens.”

Chelsea are at the top of the Premier League table at the moment with 56 points from 23 matches.

Antonio Conte’s side are nine points clear of London rivals Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal, who are second and third respectively in the standings.

The Blues will head into Saturday afternoon’s match high on confidence and on the back of 1-1 draw with Liverpool away from home at Anfield in the league.

Meanwhile, Arsenal will head into the game against Chelsea on the back of a 2-1 defeat to Watford at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League.

Chelsea are favourites to win the London derby, but the Gunners’ chances should not be written off just yet.

If Arsenal score an early goal at Stamford Bridge, then they would have a good chance of picking up all three points from the encounter.
