Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic will face Paris Saint-Germain at Celtic Park in the Champions League on Tuesday evening.

PSG have one of the best squads in entire Europe, and have world-class players such as Neymar, Marco Verratti and Edinson Cavani.
Unai Emery’s side will head into the match against the Hoops as strong favourites, but former Newcastle United striker Owen has backed the home team to pick up a point from the encounter in what is a very bold prediction.
“The only previous time the sides have met in European competition was back in the 1995/96 Cup Winners Cup competition – PSG won both ties and went on to lift the Trophy,” Owen wrote on Betvictor.com.
“Celtic have only won one of their last 14 CL games and not kept a clean sheet in their last 19 ties but I just have a feeling they can get something against Unai Emery’s star-studded side. The head says PSG in a canter but sometimes in football logic goes out of the window.”
A footnote added: “Michael’s recommendation: Celtic double chance (draw or win) at 10/3.”
Celtic may not have as good a squad as PSG do, but Celtic Park is a daunting place for any opposition.
If Brendan Rodgers’s side are able to keep the PSG attackers at bay for the opening 30 minutes or so, then they could do something.
The fans will be behind the players, who need to make sure that they are focused throughout the 90 minutes.
